George married Elizabeth Ellen Pike (born about 1851 in North Shields, Northumberland) in 1880 in Tynemouth, Northumberland.
George,
a fish merchant, and Elizabeth were the parents of:

George Albert Kilgour born in 1881 in
North Shields died on 26 May 1916 in North Shields aged 36 years and is buried
in Preston Cemetery;

Christina Young Kilgour born in 1882 in
North Shields married George H Blagburn in Tynemouth in 1915;
·
John William Kilgour born in 1884 in
North Shields married Euphemia Downie in Tynemouth
in 1914;
·
Herbert Alexander Kilgour born in 1888 in
North Shields; and
·
Frederick Joseph Kilgour born 25 December
1889 in North Shields.
George Kilgour died in North Shields on 9 July 1913 aged 73 years and is buried in Preston Cemetery.
Elizabeth Ellen Kilgour nee Pike died in North Shields on 9 April 1915 aged 66 years and is buried in Preston Cemetery.
