Thomas Albert Kilgour was born on 28 March 1859 at Garden Cottage, North Shields, Northumberland, England, and christened 10 July 1859 at Christ Church, Tynemouth, the ninth child of George Kilgour and Mary Chapman.
Thomas Albert married Charlotte Wilhelmina Augusta Klus (born about 1855 in Weldest, Germany) in 1881 in Tynemouth.
Thomas Albert, a carpenter, and Charlotte were
the parents of:

Alfred Kilgour born in Newcastle
upon Tyne about 1881;
·
Julia Beatrice Kilgour born 4 January
1884 in Tynemouth and christened at Christ Church, Tynemouth on 10 February
1884 died in North Shields in 1886, aged 2 years;
·
Jolianne Helena Kilgour born in
1886 in North Shields;
·
Beatrice Julia Kilgour born in 1888 in
North Shields; and
·
Wilhelmina Auguste Kilgour born in 1896
in Wallsend.
Thomas Albert Kilgour died in 1933 in Castle Ward, aged 75 years.
