Mary Mould was born 27 April 1808 in Eighton Banks, Lamesley, Co. Durham, England (not Gateshead as stated on Census records), and christened 28 August 1808 at St Andrew’s, Lamesley, the first daughter of William Mould of Eighton Banks, Pitman, native of Lamesley, by his wife Ann Porter native of Gateshead (from the Bishop’s Transcripts of St Andrew’s, Lamesley). Mary married Samuel Gilderoy of Washington, Co. Durham (born 5 November 1802, the son of Henry Gilderoy and Thomasin Bartram) on 6 May 1826 at Washington Holy Trinity:

were
married in this Church by Banns this sixth day of May in the year
one
thousand eight hundred & twenty six

Davison of Middleton Teesdale about 1857.

born in New Shildon about 1868.
Isabella Davison nee Gilderoy died in Shildon prior to
1875; and
·
Samuel Gilderoy born in Togston near Amble in the parish of Warkworth,
Northumberland and christened 2 October 1842 at St Lawrence, Warkworth. Updated!
Samuel Gilderoy died prior to the 1861 Census.
Mary was living with youngest son Samuel in Shildon, Co. Durham at the time of the 1861 Census.
Mary Gilderoy nee Mould’s death/burial details are unknown at this stage.
